Besides his birth name and artist aliases, I know three very important things about The Polish Ambassador: his beats are hot; his grooves smoke and his cuts are fresh. He loves to dance, so he makes and plays music that’s far-out enough to keep you riveted, but down-to-earth in a way that makes you want to shake your ass and light the floor on fire with your toes.

One of the Bay Area’s brightest lights, The Polish Ambassador rocks dance floors with his own creations. Really innovative music with a very distinct sound - in his own words, “100% original beats, bass, synth, and vox lines.” Visit his website for tunes. He's created and posted tons of them online.

I’m a conscious dude. The Polish Ambassador’s a conscious dude. And as ambassador of my own brand, I’ve got a reputation to keep up. You don’t read this column to read contractions and sentence fragments – you read this column to engage what’s Amazing about Everyday and what’s Everyday about Amazing.

So does The Polish Ambassador. I asked him about his Most Exciting Thing Happening in Our World Right Now. Here’s his share:

I've been thinking about the resurgence of the bike as a primary mode of transportation and how that is exciting in so many ways. As the weeks go by, in the Bay Area, I notice more bike lanes and more bikers frequenting the lanes. I've recently sold my car, and now bike to all of my live gigs, and the prospect of having a bike lane across the entire Bay Bridge makes me all fuzzy inside. To me, bikes create a stronger connection to the people around me, a stronger connection to the earth, and a stronger physical body, all of which lead to an increased well being and a heightened thirst for life! Bikes!

The Polish Ambassador has strong legs and fuzzy innards. Dance to his music and eat Astronaut Ice Cream with me on Friday, March 19 at The Rickshaw Stop. You will not regret it. I promise.
