TMZ.com is reporting that Florida Highway Patrol troopers visited the hospital where Tiger Woods was treated on Friday following the early morning accident outside his home.   TMZ says the troopers visited the hospital on Monday and were seeking information related to Woods' treatment there.

TMZ previously reported  on Friday  that Woods sustained his facial injuries as the result of being attacked by Nordegren, not from the accident.    The site said she had confronted him over tabloid reports that he was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel.   She strongly denied the affair.

Meanwhile in  a story published on Monday, November 30,  TMZ  is reporting that a eyewitness said that just after the accident, Woods had a bloody lip and was not wearing shows,  possibly indicating that he may have run out of the house before he had the chance to put shoes on.    It is against Florida law to drive without shoes.

Woods denied the rumors on a statement published on his Web site.

Woods had been scheduled to appear at a press conference on Monday, December 1, at the Chevron World Challenge golf tournament in Southern California but it is not known whether he will cancel.
