That was great that there was a rally in Richmond in support of the young 15 year old girl that was brutally gang raped by men and boys (who actually bragged about it afterwards). But where are the men in this community in the Bay Area? I didn't see one man speaking!!! Richmond & the SF Bay Area must be a community of cowardly men. Shame on you men in Richmond who are not standing up and admonishing other men to treat women with respect and love!! Sadly, young men don't respect or listen to women in our society. They only listen to men. That is why real men need to stand up and take responsibility to teach other men to NOT RAPE WOMEN! Men must do this to stop rape. Men learn to rape from other men! They encourage it and perpetuate it. Therefore, men must teach men to stop rape. Evil happens when good people do nothing. Why are the "good & strong men" in our communities not standing up for women? We are all one people. Stand up! Protect the weak and be a real man.

The video has been edited. There could have been male speakers at the event.
I agree that men need to speak up against violence, absolutely! But don't go jumping the gun and assuming all men in that community are cowards. Their speeches may have been edited out, or if they didn't speak there may have been other mitigating factors.
to the very post on here.
excuse me, but if you are not from Richmond, CA or some of it's surrounding neighborhoods, then shut the h*** up.
how many 21-year old funerals have you visited while you trash Richmond "Men?"
I'm a Father to both of my children and Richmond, CA is where I a was raised. I change diapers and teach my eldest son how to spell at the same time. So please do not come down on all "Richmond Males" when you go making such a bold statement about place that is real foreign to you.
And my son made 1 year today!
Men need to stand up for women? Forgive me but I use to say that and I was called a sexist pig and told that men were not required and that women could take care of themselves. I yam so confused
