Budget-Friendly Gifts: Charles Gute's Find-a-Text:Art World Edition

Need a budget friendly holiday gift for your hard-to-please art nerd?  Charles Gute (the Uneasy Conceptualist) has recently published a book of art world-themed word find games that will impress and please your artsy fartsy friends (this may also be great for your art-loving boss).  Its travel friendly size makes it perfect for morning commutes, lunch breaks, and for those moments when you've checked all the websites on your blogroll and still need something to keep you from getting your work done.
The breadth of art world related names, titles, and subjects is quite impressive--covering curators, art morvements, artists (by region, movement, time period), academia, notable patrons, publications, blogs, and everything in between.  Needless to say, there were many names and titles that I did not know of and had to look up--it's a great resource for discovering something new about art.  Find-a-Text: Art World Edition is fun and more stimulating than your typical word search game.
Charles Gute created Find-a-Text:Art World Edition as part of his recent body of text-based work currently on display at the Jason Rulnick Gallery in New York.  Gute was most recently in the bay area for a book signing at Catharine Clark Gallery (SF Art Examiner Q&A with Charles Gute).

Find-a-Text: Art World Edition is available for purchase at Catherine Clark Gallery , SF MOMA, Jason Rulnick Gallery, and other retailers.
