Up-and-coming artist Tiffany Dunn opened the Thanksgiving weekend at The Crib, Wednesday, November 24th with Too Bad I Love You and Shut the Front Door.
Dunn brought a unique energy not only to her perform but to her meet and greet that followed. The singer, dancer / B-Girl, showed off her dancing versatility by performing a front hand-spring (front flip) and balancing upside-down while kicking her legs to the rhythm during her two-song set. Dunn said, “I am a B-Girl.”
During her meet and greet, Dunn, along with two other fans posed for pictures in a pike position. After returning to her feet, Dunn and the fans embraced in hugs and smiles.
Dunn’s dancing background spans ballet and contemporary dance but her heart is in freestyling. “I was in classes where girls had been dancing since they were 3-years old. I struggled but I struck with it. When it came to freestyling, I excelled.” Dunn later went on to break-dance for Phoenix Suns while still singing.
While promoting her current single, Shut the Front Door, Dunn is looking forward to the release of her debut album early next year. The untitled album will be “something different. It will be positive, inspiring, dancey."
