Popular Bay Area radio station Energy 92.7 took over The Café Nightclub Saturday, August 8th at 10pm. The MC for the night was Energy 92.7’s own DJ Joey-V, while DJ Twist kept the over 500 party-goers on their feet as he played techno remixes of today’s hottest club bangers.

San Jose native Eugene Vigo said, “The liquor is not cold.”

Vigo was referring to his Tokyo Tea, a drink made-up of Vodka, Rum, Gin, 1800® Tequila, Triple Sec and Midori® melon liqueur. A roaming waiter and waitress with tube shots of Washington Apples (Whiske, Sour Apple Schnapp, and Cranberry juice) and Electric Lemonades (Absolut Citron, Lemonade, Blue Curacao, and Triple Sec) were a big hit. The Washington Apples were $2.00 each and the Electric Lemonades went one for $3.00 or two for $5.00.

Videos promoting Safe Sex and healthypenis.org created by Gay Club TV and Fuel the Groove
were in constant rotation on the multiple flat-screen TVs through out the club.

Energy 92.7 gave away special edition T-shirts and held a raffle for Depeche Mode tickets.

The front room of The Café wasn’t the only hot spot that night. The VIP Room was booked by a Wedding party. Congratulations to newlyweds Amber Roberts and Laura Talley.
