New Bench and Bar location brings Vegas-clubbing to Oakland

Less than half a block from the Bart station in Downtown Oakland and with another station next to the club, the new Bench and Bar location will surpass the expectations of any clubbing experience in the Bay Area. The new venue will be located at 510 17th Street.

This new location will give all Bay Area clubs a run for their money. First off, the new location features a secure four-story parking structure which will allow for more than sufficient parking for those who like to get to the clubs after midnight. Even more convenient is that the parking structure is literally across the street from the club.

The club contains two levels but all the action will go down on the main floor. The dance floor, lounging area, smoking room, 2nd music room, seven (7) full bars, billiards room, and VIP bottle service are all on the 1st floor. The second floor hosts a special VIP area which is complete with a private full bar, restroom and views that overlook all the action on the main floor.

To add to the exquisiteness of the space, a beautiful, state-of-the-art lighting system has been put in place along with a kitchen for the possibility for appetizers and VIP meals and the biggest improvement of all, air conditioning. The addition of air conditioning makes the new Bench and Bar one of few clubs in the Bay Area with this amazing luxury.

Marketing Director Valentino Carrillo said, “We are keeping both locations open. Our old location [2111 Franklin Street] will be re-branded Club 21. We will still continue to host certain events such as La Bota Loca and the popular ladies party, Tasty on Thursdays at the old location.”

The new location is still in its finalizing stages. During the private tour, most of the pieces were in place, but unfinished such as the 2nd music room. Carillo said, “We are aiming for an October opening.”
