Sexy Touch: Inttimo Romance Aromatherapy Massage and Bath Oil by Wet (review)

The single best piece of advice I can offer to anybody looking to add or restore some physical intimacy to your relationship? Touch each other.

For all I've written recently about erotica, porn, sex toys, and other sexy stuff, I'm also reminded that something as simple as trading massages – before sex, during sex, after sex, or even while zoning out in front of the TV – can be the most powerful thing you can do for your relationship.

This week, accordingly, I'm launching Sexy Touch, a new ongoing feature that will examine and review new massage products for couples.

First up: Inttimo Romance Aromatherapy Massage and Bath Oil by Wet. My partner and I have been using and loving the Silky Supreme and Beautifully Bare lubes from the Wet Naturals line (see previous review here), and we've now had just as much fun going through an entire bottle of Inttimo Romance oil.

Of the four scents available in the Inttimo line, Romance is designed to be the most aphrodisiac: The base is a sweet almond oil combined with aloe vera leaf juice, macadamia seed oil, avocado oil, sunflower oil, and kukui nut oil, enriched with vitamins A & E and scented with cedar wood and a note of patchoulli.

For different effects, try the Forbidden Fruit, Sensuality, and Tranquility scents, each available in 4oz or 8oz sizes, or in an assortment of single-use packets (see slideshow below).

As with any oil products, you'll want to read those ingredients closely if you have any kind of nut allergies. Also, if you're an obsessive label reader, note that the Inttimo products do contain Propylparaben, Methylparaben, and Glycerol Oleate (part of what I love about the Wet Naturals lubes is that they are glycerin and paraben free: these common ingredients can aggravate some people with chemical allergies and sensitivities, and are often discouraged for use by menopausal women).

We're loving the Inttimo oil ayway: The Romance scent is sexy, subtle, and lingers on the skin and in the air for a long time without overpowering. The oil goes on smooth and leaves our skin soft and silky, and, as advertised, it makes for an alluring bath oil, too: We made sure to test its dual purpose out properly, trading massages in a shared tub. Like I said: Adding some physical touch might be the most powerful thing you can do for your relationship. Who doesn't like getting – and giving – a good massage?
