Bottoms Up: Sasha Grey debuts on HBO 'Entourage' this week as Vince's new flame (VIDEO SNEAK PEEK)

Porn star Sasha Grey continues her mainstream crossover project this Sunday with her debut as Vincent Chase's new love interest on HBO's Entourage (see video trailer below, courtesy of HBO).

In an interview with Collider yesterday, Grey said that she'll be playing herself in a plotline based on the real-life relationship between Charlie Sheen and Ginger Lynn in the 1990s. Her character's arc lasts at least through to the end of the current seventh season of the show.

Episode #83 is titled, appropriately enough, "Bottoms Up" and was directed by Entourage star Kevin Connolly, who plays Vincent Chase's manager and best friend Eric Murphy on the show:

Grey is best known for her work in the adult entertainment industry, and won recent awards at the 2010 XRCO Awards (Best Oral Starlet) and 2010 AVN Awards (Best Oral Sex Scene). Yes, there are awards for pretty much everything these days. Grey's first year in the porn industry was documented in the film 9 to 5: Days In Porn, released this Spring. She opened her own adult entertainment studio, Grey Art Productions, in 2009.

Her new role on Entourage is not the first time Grey has made forays outside of the adult entertainment industry: She has a new album with her band Telecine on the way, a new book called Neu Sex due this Fall, and won acclaim for her role in Steven Soderbergh's recent film The Girlfriend Experience. In the last year she also starred in a recent campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, appeared in a cheeky – ahem – ad campaign for American Apparel's Luxe Cutout Panythose, and wrote about Governor Sanford's Appalachian adventures as a guest columnist for Newsweek's Top 10 Sex Scandal Details of the Decade special feature

In February she won adult entertainment industry recognition as Crossover Star of the Year at the 2010 XBIZ Awards, and won similar recognition as Mainstream Adult Media Favorite at the 2010 X-Rated Critics Organization XRCO Awards. And, last but certainly not least, I picked her as Porn Star of the Year in my 2009 Sexaminer Awards.
