We first ran into Michael Schuessler's book The Holy G-rail while being interviewed for KBPI's Uncle Nasty Show (106.7). Uncle Nasty tossed the book onto our laps and asked, "hey do you believe the G-spot exists?" We looked at each other incredulously...of course we do! But it turns out that not only does the average man know nothing about the G-spot, but even sex researchers argue about whether or not women are able to achieve orgasm via stimulation to this area. (In case you don't know, the G-spot is located one to three inches inside her vaginal opening on the roof of the canal, towards the front of her body, the texture is a little rougher than the surrounding tissue.) We did some research on this topic ourselves in preparation for an upcoming book we wrote on female sexuality (Clit-ology), and we don't care what researchers say, word on the investigative street is that women can and do have G-spot orgasms.
Michael Schuessler has taken it upon himself to educate the masses on how to best play with this sexy bit of female anatomy. Here's what he had to say for himself.
1. Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Michael Schuessler, author of the book, The Holy G-rail (G-spot, R-relating, A-anatomy, I-into, L-lovemaking) I am the CEO of Holy G® and Holy G Wear®.
I also write for the Examiner.com, as the Denver Sex and Sensuality Examiner. I am a Sexuality Life Coach. I am also a painter and photographer and a producer for a local music show “Denver’s Heartbeat” which produce music videos. I live for creativity, in All-Ways and in all forms. My writing is the more of a guide which helps my readers to find their own sexual freedom, passions and creativity in a physical and emotional way a tool which helps them be more creative in their personal lives. My paintings, photography, and video productions are more subjective and allow the viewers to feel the sensuality though my sense of color sound and movement. All I do focuses on the spirit of desire which is the wellspring of all creation.
2. Why did you decide to write The Holy G-rail?
It was an epiphany really. I have always felt that women are ‘The Holy Grail’. I have come across so many women that don’t love themselves and do not feel worthy of any kind of love, much less from themselves. You have to love yourself in order to accept love from another! The book is about finding the G-spot, that’s the hook, yet it involves Communication, Patience, Self-Love, and the passions and play or Warm-Up needed to start this quest for desire and the ‘G’. The whole package is needed, and I wrote the book as an easy way to help others ignite the deeper and more sensual aspects of lovemaking. The G-Spot is consideredThe Holy Grail of Sex. The women within our lives are the actual chalice; the quest in All-Ways should begin there!
3. What's your favorite thing about the work you are doing?
I like to inspire people to bring passion back into their lives. I have done over 300 radio and magazine interviews all over the country and if I can help one couple or one person feel good about themselves and to love themselves from the inside out then I feel my job is complete!
4. What (or who) inspires you to do this work?
That would be my Special-Lover and the One-Self that guides us all.
5. What's your favorite decadent treat?
It would have to be the ability to check and confirm my theories, in other words… Threesomes! (wink)
6. Do you have a favorite sex icon? If so, who?
Tough one… I like the classier more passionate, yet naughty Icons; to name one, well that would be limiting.
7. What has been your biggest challenge in your sexy endeavors?
Not enough of me to go around. But seriously I feel sexual topics are such a taboo in our society. I’m trying to tear those walls down, so people can feel free to talk about and express their sensuality and sexuality and at the same time not feel the judgments or repressions of others.. My main slogan or logo, which I happen to have on my car, is “Changing The World, One Orgasm ~ At A Time” That’s what it’s all about!
8. Where do you see yourself in five years?
On the beach in Jamaica with a glass of Rum punch writing more sequels to The Holy G-rail. I have 5 more coming out! I’d also like to be doing more one on one couples counseling there in Jamaica. I feel if you remove the distractions of your daily life it allows you to become more in tune with your passions, thus opening yourself up to your partner in a more clarified way. It’s all about getting people to see how Green the Grass is on their own side of the fence.
