I was reading on Shine (the yahoo thing) that there is a bid to make pole dancing an Olympic sport. I dont know how much truth to the story is actually real or not, but if it's true, Olympic Pole dancing would be very interesting. My first thought was that most olympic sports are male and female, so would there be a men's category as well? Would the pole dancers have to meet certain weight categories? Also, how would the judging be broken down...something like diving where it's based on degree of difficulty?
I accidently frequented these so called clubs that are not really clubs at all. They are more like entertainment clubs, if you will. Needless to say, that art of pole dancing is really, a lost art. It's unfortunate that people think pole dancing is holding on to the pole with one hand and dancing around it rather than using the actual pole to glide down and use their bodies as an art form in unison.
Anywho, great article! I have to ask, what can the fellas do for the ladies?
