The weekend is always an excellent time to try to spend time with your honey, or to scope the scene for that special someone. I'll be showing you examples of cool things to do that don't cost a lot and are easily accessible, even if you have to take The Bus.

Chinese New Year

2012 is the Year of the Dragon, and the Chinese New Year Festival will be celebrated in Chinatown from Jan. 6, 2012 to Jan. 7. from 10 am to 10 pm. SK808 Roller Derby Tournament

If the Zoo isn't your thing and you'd prefer to watch chicks bang each other up on roller skates, here's the event for you! From Noon to 6 p.m the Pacific Roller Derby will be participating in a roller derby tournament. Roller mamas from all over the world are going to be body checking their way to victory.
