"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him." Revelation 1:7. "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Matthew 24:27. Jesus will come as "a thief in the night," yes, but in the sense that " man knoweth not the hour of His returning..." Mark 13:32
Jesus' return will be glorious and alearth-shaking; heralded with the sound of Angels and heavenly Trumets, and I think that His return is very soon at hand!
The secret rapture is a major doctrine in the Christian community. However, Adventists believe very differently than some denominations. Jesus will come and take us up with him at the same time; not seprately with seven years to repent and prove yourself worthy of salvation.

I'm curious how you can say you ascribe to the tenets of the SDA faith when you have those huge hoop earrings?!? Maybe you should join the Seventh-day Baptists, as they have no injunction against jewelry.
Wow, Michael! What a statement! Here is a young woman trying to tell others that Jesus loves them and you are insulting not only her, but another denomination as well! Shame on you! How many youth leave the church because during their growing period, the already there "Christians" knock them down! Shame on you! What a pity that non-Adventist have to witness us try to tear each other down instead of lift one another up with love the way that Christ commanded us too.
Christina, I am proud of your decision to not be ashamed of your faith and tell others how you believe. I know that this is not an easy world to live in and that it is hard speak out and admit that you love God. I believe that as God directs you, you will folow His lead. May God bless you and give you strenght to keep growing closer to Him. Don't let anyone beat you down. Just keep looking to Christ! None of us are perfect, but He is still working on us!
