Someone needs to fill our President in on a little secret. His job, first and foremost, is to keep America and its citizens safe, period. America and 300 innocent American citizens were viciously and successfully attacked on Christmas day by an Islamic Terrorist.
Mr. President, this was no isolated incident by an extremist. This attack was not foiled by American security. This attack was not the result of the Bush Administration's war on terrorism.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said, "Our system worked." She quickly changed her story the following day when she realized that the rest of us don't live in "La-La" land like her and the rest of the Obama Administration.
Unfortunately for America, the Obama Administration will learn nothing from this attack as they learned nothing from the Fort Hood attack. The Obama Administration has emboldened our enemies to strike America like never before. Obama and Congress are more concerned with destroying our health care system and bankrupting this country than defending it. Hopefully Obama will start defending America before more innocent lives are lost. Obama will only defend America when he comes to the realization that Islamic Terrorists hate all Americans because we are a Christian nation. They hate us because we are a free nation. They hate us because our culture has built the greatest nation in history, while their oppressive and destructive culture dooms their society to a perpetual welfare state.
President Obama, stop apologizing for American prosperity. Stop defiling America every chance you get. Stop trying to strip Americans of our rights and freedoms. Islamic Terrorists are still at war with America.
President Obama, it's time for you to start fighting for America.

I find it very funny how rumors get spread abroad. For those of us who had traveled around the world we clearly know (and I can't help but to giggle when I am writing this) That he got on the plane in Amsterdam not the USA. The security screening in Europe is not nearly as strict as in the USA and the truth is that, just like here home, once you go through security you stay in the secure side and don't' get searched/screened again. Amazing hoe people will got to the extreme to try and make somebody look bad that they will take any excused and thrive in the ignorance of people that are dying to hear gossip.

She was quite clearly talking about the response after the incident. Here is the full quote: "Once this incident occurred, everything went according to clockwork, not only sharing throughout the air industry, but also sharing with state and local law enforcement. Products were going out on Christmas Day, they went out yesterday, and also to the [airline] industry to make sure that the traveling public remains safe. I would leave you with that message. The traveling public is safe. We have instituted some additional screening and security measures, in light of this incident, but, again, everyone reacted as they should. The system, once the incident occurred, the system worked."
The arrested terrorist was trained by 2 terrorists released by Cheney and Bush!
And why are Republicans hamstringing the TSA by voting against advanced tech needed to detect explosives?
Doug- The Secretary's comments addressed the after action performance of the system as you clearly point out. Wrong topic. I never met a living victim that was impressed with the level of the investigating skills of the investigators. Standing over the body and deciphering clues does nothing to prevent the incident. She should have simply admitted that flaws in the system enabled this individual to breach security and those points are being addressed without being overly wordy. Least said the better.
As for blaming Bush and Cheney... I can only presume from your statement you were present and watched them both unlock and open the cell doors. Unless you know the precise circumstances of the release of these two please don't ascribe responsibility. Of course the purpose of your remarks might be political obfuscation. If that was your intent it didn't work this time.
By-the-by readers, I am not a politico so don't paint my remarks with that brush please. Just looking for clarity.
Its time for all the jealous defeated incompetents to realize that President Obama won the election; that his term is for four years and that he does not neeadvice unless its requested.
