Kris is a native of Idaho and has been a resident of its capital, Boise, for 20 years. He has a bachelor of arts in philosophy and a master of arts in technical communication. In addition to being a prolific writer and proactive presence on the Web involved in topics such as philosophy, science, atheism, skepticism, agnosticism, freethinking, and secular humanism, Kris is active in both national and local clubs and organizations focused on secular thought and activism. His main objective is to raise awareness and provoke thought regarding issues central to secular humanism, such as separation of church and state, conflicts between religion and science, secular-based morality, and the historical and current impact of religious dogma and faith.
