Scrapbooking ideas for summer

As we head into summer most people remember to scrapbook those big events like the last day of school, the Fourth of July, birthdays, and so on, but will you remember those little things that happened during the summer?  

Here are some ideas of things you can scrapbook that are everyday events of summer that would make great scrapbook pages:

1.  Gardening and planting:  Do you and your family plant a garden?  Or did you plant some new plants in your yard?  Include this experience in your scrapbooking.  Be sure to take plenty of pictures and include the different stages of planting and anything unique or funny that happens during the activity.

2.  Camping or exploring:  Whether you and your family are camping in the backyard or camping in a state park, it is still fun to take loads of pictures and include all the fun happenings in your scrapbook memories.

3.  Going to the beach or pool: Whether you document the first visit to the pool or your summer visit to the beach, be sure to take lots of pictures to remind you of all the fun you had.

4.  Visiting a local fair or festival:  Are you planning on visiting a local fair or festival?  Document the new things you saw and heard with lots of pictures.

5.  Visiting relatives:  Did you visit relatives?  Did you see friends that live far away?  Take pictures of your visit and document what happened on your visit.

6.  Participating in community service projects and/or fund raising for charity: Take pictures of the activities that you did and document all the things you learned and were able to accomplish.

7.  Hug the children in your life:  Sometimes the best pages are just a page to document how children change and grow throughout the seasons.  Take pictures of you and your family doing ordinary everyday things and show how your family changes during the summer months.
