Marking the milestones in your life

There are always firsts going on around us. Some major like first steps, and some not as major, but still momentous like starting a new job.

Elizabeth Dillow created the Marking Milestones class for Big Picture Scrapbooking (BPS) after her third how her child took a bit longer to walk than most.  Elizabeth started thinking about all of the smaller milestones that occur in life, that seem to go unnoticed. Like her child’s first time meeting a great-grandfather or first trip to the National Mall.

We all know what a big deal a major life milestone can be. Some milestones are met with great fanfare and celebration, while others come and go quietly. Either way, keeping track of them is a large part of what scrapbookers do.

Many milestones occur in the lives of adults –a trip you saved for,  the first meal you cooked for a holiday party, etc.

In the Marking Milestones class you will create three projects. It does not matter where you are in your life. You can choose to create projects from your past experiences or from the present.

If you do have children, this project class is a way to keep track of milestones when a child is growing rapidly. If you don’t have children, the class is very adaptable. It is a great way to celebrate you!
