A recent hack into a prominent UK scientist's computer has revealed over a thousand emails that contain incriminating information against climate change and global warming proponents.
The information in these emails has been described as a 'smoking gun' evidence of data collusion and manipulation among climatologists. This data was tweaked to be in support of the widely held view that man is causing climate change.
The data has been retrieved from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, or Hadley CRU, by an anonymous poster by the name of 'FOIA'. The director of Britain's leading Climate Research Unit, Phil Jones, has told investigators from Investigate magazine's TGIF Edition that the email breach and data retrieval seem to be genuine.
Gaining the moniker of ClimateGate, if these emails and information prove to be true, they will uncover a giant conspiracy that will come to be one of the biggest schemes of our time. With many countries on the verge of changing policy for the sake of 'saving the planet', this new discovery could prove to be quite critical.

The emails show that they not only manipulated the data, as a key subgroup of alarmist "scientists", they controlled the peer review process and squelched opposing points of view.
I believe in global warming..pictures don't lie. But if this particular scientist is manipulating data, he should be fired because he is no true scientist.

No one on this planet disputes that the planet has warmed since the end of the Little Ice Age. If that is what you are calling global warming, it is true. But this warming has happened in 3 decade intervals, The warming of the 1890 to 1900 at which time the Arctic ice sheet was reduced and in 1900 the NW passage was open. Then a cooling spell followed by the warming spell of the 1920's to 1940 something. That warming spell warmed the planet by .5 C. The arctic ice sheet again reduced and the NW passage was open. Then the cooling spell of 1950 through the 70's, in which the Arctic ice sheet gained a new high in 1978. Then this warming spell where the Arctic ice sheet was again reduced. The total warming since 1850 is .6 C and we have lost .2 C of that in this present cooling. The Arctic ice sheet is again increasing and the NW passage is closed. 50% of this warming is from land use changes, ie. cities. The IPCC says 60% is natural variability. cont'd
So we have 110% of the warming from land use changes and natural variability. What we do not have is any proof that C02 has anything to do with the warming. I agree, pictures do not lie. There are pictures from the 40's showing the loss of ice and submarines surfacing at the North Pole. People do not seeem to understand the climate is cyclic and we have done this many times. If the government wants to propose a bill to raze all the cities and turn them back ito forests, fine. But raising the price of heat in a cooling period is criminal. However, every person has the right to stop using fossil fuels, no electricity, no heat, no gas.
Skeptics and conspiracy buffs need to understand that even without any CRU data nor the publications of it scientists, there are MULTIPLE lines of evidence for AGW:
1) UAH, RSS, and GISS show warming
2) Rapidly warming Arctic
3) Rapidly decreasing sea ice extent
4) Rapidly thinning sea ice
5) Rising ocean heat content
6) Cooling stratosphere
7) Net increase in downwelling LW
8 ) Net decreasing TOA LW emission
9) Increased species migrations/extinctions
10) Increased severe weather occurrences
11) Glacier mass loss and retreats increasing
12) Rising sea levels
13) Most importantly: rapidly rising human emissions of GHGs that have not been seen in millions of years.
None of these things read emails and have decided to play along in a massive international conspiracy.

The emails have nothing in them. Read them. Understand them.
Anything to cry about? No. Continue as you were.
These emails raise a number of questions. The scientists in the emails discuss deleting data, modifying data, deleting emails to foil FOIA requests, preventing access to data requested via FOIA requests and collusion to do all of these things. Whether or not manmade climate change is real, the conduct of the scientists is troubling and unethical. If these scientists cannot conduct their research ethically, then why should the public believe the research at all?

Actually, there's no known artificial or manmade cause that is of sufficiently effect. CO2? It's barely doing anything. Something else is. Heck, Mars is warming. Any industry or humans there? Also, this has happened before multiple times. The Earth cycles between coolings and warmings. the last cycle was about 12000 or so years if I remember correctly. It's been about 10000+ years since then, so obviously it might possibly be about time. Also, corelation does not equal causation. I believe we are better off if we start looking for ways to survive the coming heat and cold which will probably be extreme.
These Scientist provide the seed that will be used to destroy freedom through political forces. Careful who you put in power ultra-left, the educated are always the first to go once all opposition is squashed under a tank. I want to help the environment but these guys just want to sell carbon credits. I'm into the real world solutions that solve problems without destroying freedom. Freedom is a grand thing when you value it.
Something is going on with the sun we are in a solar minimum that is not on any historical data. If anyone knows more I would like to know. Are we cooling or warming? What do no sun spots mean?
Really, Anna? You call this reporting? Are you bucking for a job at Fox? You're obviously writing an opinion piece and not a piece of news. You are convicting the entire climate research community before the ink has had a chance to dry.
Has anyone thought to look at the positives that would come if global warming is indeed real? This could be the best thing to happen for earth. All kinds of new ocean life, animals, etc. NO one has any real idea of what the long term earth really needs. If you tree huggers had your way from day one there would still be dinasaurs.
