CIRenew will be hosting Dan Wolf, President and CEO of Cape Air, for a talk on his company's strategy for going green at 6:30 pm on Nov. 19 at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street, Harwich.
Joining Dan from Cape Air will be Bob Doane, Chief Financial Officer, and Jim Wolf, Housing & Green Initiative Director. They will discuss what led them to the decision to make going green a part of Cape Air's strategic plan, what steps they are taking, how they are involving employees, and why it makes business sense.
"To truly be socially responsible these days you've got to reduce your negative impact on the environment," says Dan Wolf. "The greening of an airline does present some difficult challenges, but the opportunities for improvement and cost reduction are here, especially when we team up with the emerging talent and resource base right in our own communities."
This event is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
