ABC just released a new trailer for its highly anticipated new sci-fi series "Flash Forward," where for 2 minutes everyone in the world blacks out and has visions of the future. The new series premieres on September 24 at 8pm (ET).
SciFi Scoop reported the following was revealed about "Flash Forward" at Comic Con.

- the final episode of the first season will take place April 30, 2010 and will focus on an aftermath story
- Dominic Monaghan and Gabrielle Union’s casting is official. Read about that here.
- Monaghans character, Simon, is a “game changer” who, according to Goyer, “f***s up a lot of things.”
- Robert J. Sawyer, who wrote the novel the series is based upon, has approved the pilot and will write at least one Season 1 episode
- 10 of the Season 1 episodes have already been written
- there’s a Kangaroo in the first 15 minutes and another 5 or 6 things are hidden in the first two acts (the Kangaroo will also be back, for some reason)
- episode 7 is a game changer
- 3 different countries are featured in the first 3 episodes
The series is now also being referred to as Lost meets 24 meets The Nine.
