Here’s to one of my favorite actors - Johnny Depp. Born June 9, 1963, John Christopher “Johnny” Depp II is a superstar actor, a musician, winemaker and restauranteur.
Known for playing off-beat, eccentric characters, Depp has captured the hearts of millions with his sly smile and good looks. Taking on the memorable roles of Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Ed Wood, and, of course, Edward Scissorhands, Depp has also charmed us with movies like Sleepy Hollow, Finding Neverland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and too many others to name.
And not slowing even a step, this year he is wrapping up The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland (2010), and the one I've been waiting for - Public Enemies (which will hit theaters in July).
Thank you, Mr. Depp, for all the wonderful hours of entertainment you have given us – and a very, very Happy Birthday!
