After insisting that they would air all 13 episodes of Joss Whedon's Dollhouse, Fox has pulled the show from the November schedule, says EW's Michael Ausiello. These weeks are significant because they are part of "sweeps", a time when ratings are collected from "diaries" and not just Nielsen boxes. These ratings are important when setting prices for advertisers in the future, so no network wants to be caught with poorly rated shows in November.
Right now, Dollhouse is due to return in December but even if it does, this surely will mark then end ot the show's rocky run.

You know, I have tried to get into the Dollhouse because there are several actors that I like so I was letting some stuff go but after 2nite's episode, that had so many mistakes and just stupid crap going on, it seems that I won't have to worry about it anymore since you are going off the air. I don't know if you just figured it was so messed up that people would just think it was confusing or if whoever was in charge of editing was high, but tonite's episode (the flow/flashbacks?!?!) was so bad I wouldn't even know where to start and don't have enough room to critique it but you must think we are stupid to have actually put that on air. It is very sad because I would have fought for the show but I won't fight for that.
