(Sarasota, FL) The Millionaires football club signed quarterbacks Mike Peterson and Justin Brienich to player contracts for the 2010/11 season Wednesday at Mote Marine Aquarium and Laboratory in Sarasota. Team owner’s Bethsaida and Calvin Williams have planned player signings at various sites around the team’s hometown to promote awareness of the organization which not only plays football, but also provides several community service programs to Sarasota. Mote Marine Aquarium and Laboratory is one of the leading research facilities in the world for studying sea life. It was founded in 1955 as an independent, non-profit research organization and continues as a leader in its field. Mike Peterson has been a member of the Millionaires since the team’s inception more than four years ago. He is one of the team captains and on and off field mentors to the other players. He played high school football at Sarasota High School and junior college football in Fresno, California. Justin Brienich will begin his second year with the Millionaires this fall. Brienich also played high school football at Sarasota High School. Offensive Coordinator and Hall of Fame Coach John Mackler, plans to install a high-powered “west coast” style offense this season that will use both quarterbacks to their greatest strengths. Interviews with Mike Peterson and Justin Brienich are posted below.
