Every channel you turn on, there she is--Sarah Palin signing books, waving to fans, and shaking hands. The media just can't get enough of her -- the cover of Newsweek, every major newspaper, Oprah, Entertainment Tonight, and all of the major news networks.  Interviews have ranged from serious to lighthearted, and, like her or not, Palin's Going Rogue Book Tour has garnered the former governor a lot of attention. Sarah Palin's Going Rogue Book Tour has hit 9 cities so far and there are many more to come.

Many voters have already formed an opinion about the former governor, but Palin's popularity numbers have boosted in national polls in recent months. Andrew Malcolm of the Los Angeles Times reported that Palin's numbers were to the point where they nearly equal President Obama's.

It is too early to say who will prevail as the 2012 GOP presidential candidate, but with the sales of her memoir and her growing popularity, Palin is using the opportunity to speak out on her views on President Obama and what she would do if she was in charge as she did last night in a wide-ranging interview with Greta Van Susteren on FoxNews:

"I would not start talking about a second stimulus package...What we need to do is reduce capital gains tax, reduce taxes on corporations and small businesses and our incomes, so private sector, our families, our businesses can keep more of what we earn, can prioritize for our needs, reinvest, create jobs-- that's how the economy is gonna roar back to life."

"She brings out a different crowd," Salem Republican Party Chairman Greg Habeeb told the Roanoke Times. "She taps into something that the Republican Party really needs to tap into."

Palin has the freedom to believe in what she believes in. The whole point of her book tour, her life is about promoting freedom. You have right to decide if you want an abortion for example. The difference here is that your freedom to decide would be taken away and controlled by the government. The point is either the government controls your life or you control your life. Sarah Palin is not the issue. The issue is about freedom.
