Everyone's talking about Sarah

Friends and enemies just can't seem to get enough of Sarah Palin. This past week, many were talking about the former Governor of Alaska, including Dick Cheney, Vice President Joe Biden, John McCain, and Joe the Plumber.

In an exclusive interview on “This Week,” former Vice President Dick Cheney didn't indicate if he thought former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin was qualified to be President of the United States, but he did take issue with Palin’s suggestion that President Obama could help himself politically if he declared war on Iran.

Vice President Biden played the dodge ball game Wednesday night on Larry King Live when asked about the former Alaskan governor. He told Larry King that she had a "great personality." Once he tried to go beyond that, he started stammering.

Palin's old running mate John McCain took a moment to defend Palin's highly publicized 'crib notes' while in Chicago to support Mark Kirk.

"Which is more egregious," he asked, as if the answer were obvious, "reading from a word on your hand or a teleprompter?"

McCain continued: "I continue to be entertained now by the continuous historical attacks on Sarah Palin, who was very, very popular with a significant segment of the American people."

Even Joe the Plumber had a thing or two to say. Joe, also known as Sam Wurzelbacher, told an audience in Pennsylvania this week that McCain "is no public servant." Joe the Plumber said McCain tried to use him and screwed up his life. In fact, Wurzelbacher's dislike for McCain is so strong that he no longer supports Sarah Palin simply because Palin will campaign for McCain's re-election.

So what does all this mean? Sarah Palin is certainly in a unique position in politics. Even though she currently doesn't hold a title, she continues to rouse her critics and the media continues to focus on Palin and 2012. Whether she runs or not, it's become something that needs to be discussed and sparks much debate. Everyone from two vice presidents to press secretary Robert Gibbs to many in the left wing media spend a great deal of time on Palin, which just goes to show she's become a major distraction and is even possibly seen as a threat.

You know who else gets talked about?

    Britney Spears and Kanye West.

People don't jabber about people for their competence. The left doesn't focus on people like Romney or Gingrich because they're actually competent and thus dangerous. The left focuses on Palin because they want her to be the nominee in 2012, because approximately 70% of the population realizes she's retarded*.

I too wish she would not campaign for McCain. She probably has no choice but to do it. Joe knows McCain better than I do.........

Must be "relevant" to libprog walrus because he sure feels the need to read and comment about Sarah all the time.
