Sarah Palin shared some of her favorite Christmas traditions with Gretchen Carlson of Fox & Friends during a book signing at The Villages in Florida. Fox & Friends recently aired the short segment titled"Christmas with the Palins" for their Christmas Special.
So how do the Palins spend their Christmas?
"We go to Grandma's the night before and everybody goes to a candlelight church service on Christmas eve," Sarah Palin said. "Whether you've gone to church all year long or not, you're expected to go at least on Christmas eve to a candlelight service and then Santa Claus comes at night...so the next morning we open gifts, then we go to the Wasilla community Christmas dinner. We help out there. That's for people who maybe don't have anywhere else to go that day."
Palin even talked about the importance of having her oldest son home for the holidays...
"The specialness now of having my son home safe and sound from Iraq really hits home to me. As I think of the families whose loved ones didn't come home from the war zone...I want Americans to reach out to those families and... tell them thank you and thank God for them in this ultimate sacrifice that they have given to this beloved country of ours."
Gretchen Carlson even asked some fun questions about Christmas to a special guest...Piper Palin.

Is the media going to make a big story about every book signing of Palin's because I have never seen an "author" tracked like this before?
