Having a location in a strip mall next to trendy hot-spot Pita Jungle could be a risky venture, but Tasty Kabob holds it's own with it's simple and delicious Persian food. The menu contains a host of appetizers, salads, a range of kabob entrees...and, of course, sandwiches.

The selection ranges from gyros, beef, lamb and veggie options. A standout is the Chicken Kabob Sandwich (aka Persian Chicken Sandwich), $6.50, which includes
marinated chicken, tomato, lettuce on pita bread with a side of yogurt sauce. If you like things spicy, ask for some Sriracha and apply sparingly.

The atmosphere at Tasty Kabob is more sedate than its arty neighbor. Table cloths and floral arrangements decorate the tables and there's a bar for drinking customers, but it's by no means fancy or stuffy.
