The San Jose Giants scored four times in the sixth inning to break a 3-3 tie on their way to an 8-3 win over the Visalia Rawhide Thursday afternoon at Municipal Stadium.

Conor Gillaspie stroked a bases-loaded single to drive in two runs in the inning, and David Maroul followed with a two-run double. Ryan Lormand had a four-RBI game for the Giants, three of them coming on his first homer of the season in the second inning.

San Jose starter Craig Clark (14-2) won his 13th consecutive decision, although he struggled in the fifth inning. With the Giants leading 3-0, he gave up back-to-back homers to Ed Easley and Elijah Rumler and an RBI single to James Skelton. After that he settled in and completed eight innings, giving up three runs on seven hits, while walking one, hitting one and striking out six.

Clark is now the only 14-game winner in the California League and is tied for the minor league lead in victories.

Visalia starter Joshua Collmenter (8-4) took the loss. He was charged with six runs against.

The Giants take the three-game series two games to one, and now head on the road to start a three-game series with Rancho Cucamonga on Friday night.  Kyle Nicholson (0-0) is scheduled to start for San Jose against Manuel Flores (0-0) of the Quakes.

Roster moves: Relievers David Mixon (2-1) and Daniel Turpen (3-1) have returned to San Jose from Fresno (AAA).
