Julius Peppers sounds like a nice idea, but it doesn't make sense for 49ers right now.

The Week 6 trade deadline is approaching and there are speculations of what possible trade scenarios that the 49ers might entertain. Looking at the team right now, there could be some holes that might get some fixing, but nothing in the current trade market. The biggest struggle for the team at the moment is at the offensive line position. Protection for the quarterback has not been the 49ers' best talent and it was apparent last Sunday that the 49ers better find some help at that position.
How long do the 49ers wait it out? We will see.
One thing I wanted to point out was an idea proposed by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter mentioned the dealing of DE Julius Peppers from the Panthers. In return, the Panthers will receive the first round pick they originally traded to the 49ers on draft day. The 49ers currently hold Carolina's first round pick.
Schefter said this trade should happen for both teams' benefits, but it probably won't.
Peppers has been disgruntled since this off-season, demanding to be sent to a team in a 3-4 scheme. The 49ers are one of a handful of teams that currently employ the 3-4 style. Obviously, this is just food for thought. The franchise tag the Panthers put on Peppers was done in hopes that maybe they can find a trade suitor for him. This situation works well within the Panthers' thinking.
But do the 49ers need pass rush help? Right now, their pass rush has improved a lot more than it has in the past couple seasons. But keeping Peppers might be a hefty price when the 49ers will have to renegotiate his contract.
It's just an idea to throw out there during a slow bye week. I doubt the 49ers will make any moves.

I thought we should have picked up Peppers in the off season but I digress. With the stable of WR's we have can we deal them for a big OL's man? With all the winless teams so far this year I know a couple could use some WR's.. Hill, Battle & a coin toss between Morgan & Jones. Depending on the big man maybe one of our 1st round picks?
It will be crazy to trade off morgan. He has been incredible this season and he is developing to be a great player any of the other WR mention for a big OL player.
no trade now this is what they should do with the oline right now. put wraggie @ center move heitmann back to right guard, move snyder to left guard staley stays @ left tackle.pashoes stays @ right tackle. This for now I think would help then in the off season fix the oline .
I think that if they had to trade a wr , it should be battle. Hill last year showed that he can catch when need be and likewise with morgan. Can't really say to much about jones cause he has been hurt. But with bruce possibly retiring next year they should keep the young WR. Or trade that torrible right tackle and keep all the WR. But the niners should leave peppers alone cause he will want too much money. Money they could use to sign new player or players that are near the end of their contracts.
I ment right guard.
