In addition to being a mother of three children, Melanie Rome is a non-fiction writer and her stories have been featured in both national and local publications. She has a Master of Art degree in School Counseling and a UCLA Certificate in College Counseling. Before opening a private practice as a College Admissions Counselor, Melanie worked in the counseling departments of several San Fernando Valley high schools including the College Office of a large, academically challenging and nationally recognized school.
