Tessa Dick recently accepted an invitation from the Libertarian Party to run for Congress in California's 41st district, which includes the mountain communities, Redlands, Victorville and several smaller communities. She holds an MA degree from Chapman University. Mrs. Dick has retired after teaching English and communications for 12 years in order to devote more time to her writing and her community. Her marriage to the author Philip K. Dick (Bladerunner, Minority Report) helped to form her views on individual liberty and the responsibility of government to ensure individual liberty. For the past three years, she has been a board member of Crestline Lioness, which is sponsored by Lions International, the world's largest service organization.
