There's been an additional bout added to the Salt City Derby Girls schedule. The Salt City Shakers are playing against Emerald City from Eugene Oregon this coming Saturday May 29th at Taylorsville Recreation Center: 4948 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah. Tickets will be available at the rec center this Thursday from 8-10pm during their practice, or at the door the night of the event.
This bout will help determine the Shakers' standing in the WFTDA Western Region. Salt City is currently ranked 16th in the west, Emerald City has not been ranked yet. Doors open at 5pm, game is at 6pm. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 day of. Seating is limited to only 200 fans. This will be a unique experience to see them in a small venue.
The Shakers will be on the road June 5th for a bout against the Treasure Valley Roller Girls in Boise, Idaho (WFTDA Apprenticeship team). Then the next home bout is on June 12 with the Shakers playing a ranked game against FoCo Girls Gone Derby from Fort Collins, Colorado. That bout will be held at the Salt Palace as usual, and is a double-header bout with the Bomber Babes taking on the Leave it to Cleavers.
