8th Annual Lou Gehrig's Disease Run
The 8th Annual Lou Gehrig's Disease run benefits the ALS recovery fund. Participants have access to online fundraising resources including individual pages, team pages and a fundraising goal meter.

When:

  • Saturday, May 9, 2009
  • 7:30 AM

There are three events to choose from:

  1. 10K run
  2. 5K run
  3. 5K walk

Walkers, may do the 5K event. The walk is a non-timed event and walkers do not need to pick up a timing chip in order to participate in the event.

About the ALS Recovery Fund
The ALS Recovery Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization built on volunteers. The organization is committed to creating public awareness, promoting research and education, and raising funds in order to find a cure for this life-threatening disease. Proceeds from the race will also be used to further the quality of patient care for ALS patients in South Florida.
