Sunday, January 31 marks the date of the 2010 ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon. Approximately 17,000 runners are expected to participate in the 2010 ING Miami Marathon and Half Marathon.
Although locals call this a flat course, there are quite a few drawbridges along the way. Drawbridges are anything but flat, especially when there seems to be one around every corner. A participant in the 2009 ING Miami Half Marathon counted at least 7 bridges throughout the course.
Health and Fitness Expo
Runners must pick up their race packets at the 2010 Nissan Health & Fitness Expo Presented by The Miami Herald & El Nuevo Herald. The expo takes place at the Miami Convention Center. Over 100 exhibitors will be present at the expo, displaying and selling a variety of running shoes, clothing, equipment and nutritional supplements.
- Friday, January 29: 12 PM to 7 PM
- Saturday, January 30: 10 AM to 6 PM
