A unique premium white rum from Brazil, Oronoco is distilled from fresh sugar cane juice and blended with select aged white rums for a very smooth flavor profile.

Unlike many of the cachaça spirits from Brazil, Oronoco is triple distilled to a high proof in copper pot stills. The resulting clean, fresh rum is blended and aged in Brazilian Amendam wood casks.
This medium-bodied spirit presents a rich viscosity for a white rum, with thick, slow-running legs on the tasting glass. Aromas of marshmallow, sweet cane and vanilla dominate the nose. Clean sweetness leads the palette, followed by creamy vanilla with a touch of anise. The finish is mellow, long and warm.
Unique among white rums, Oronoco is priced in the range of fine sipping rums and many enthusiasts enjoy drinking it neat or on the rocks. The rum also brings smooth creamy notes to cocktails.
The bottle is tall with a large screw cap, surrounded by a leather cover embossed with a map of Brazil and a shining sun.
Developed by cachaca makers Vicente and Roberto Bastos Ribeiro of Brazil, Oronoco premium rum is produced by Diageo. It won a Gold Medal in the 2005 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
