Blackwell's Black Gold from Jamaica

Chris Blackwell first brought Reggae music to the word, now his authentic rich flavored Jamaican rum delivers warm elements of full-bodied spirit infused with tropical fruit flavors.

In 1959 Chris founded Island Records and began bringing island music to the masses. He discovered Bob Marley and Reggae music was never the same. In 1992 he purchased Goldeneye, author Ian Fleming's sanctuary where the James Bond novels were written. Now, he's bringing Jamaican culture back in the spotlight with his Black Gold rum.

This special reserve rum makes an interesting pairing with cola and a slice of lime (the Black Eye) or blended with orange and pineapple juices and crushed ice (the Goldeneye).

The product is a result of Chris' tinkering with old family recipes from the 17th century when his family participated in the rum trade. Black Gold is reminiscent of the old-style full-flavored and medium-bodied Jamaican rums that made the likes of Jack Sparrow grin from ear to ear.

Blackwell's Back Gold rum was initially only available in Jamaica, but plans are underway to bring the product to the UK and the Americas.
