Face it: most of us don't have time to spend too much time looking for a new gaming group. I remember when I was a teenager being baffled over how to get a group of people together to play a game of D&D.
Nowadays, the internet makes everything so much easier. There are plenty of resources out there to help you out.
Nearby Gamers is a great site to look at, locating each person on a google map, and allowing you to input exactly what kind of RPGs you're looking for. So far I've found one person nearby who is interested. It's a great resource if you're just moving to the area.
Checking out the forums on such sites as Wizards of the Coast, Pinnacle Entertainment Group, or even Giant in the Playground are all great places to find more players or just talk about gaming in general.
Also checking out your local gaming store for bulletin boards and announcements is a great place to go. In the greater Hampton Roads area, there are some great places such as Atlantis Games and Tower of Games.
As you can see, there are some great ways to find a new group or even look for a couple of new players for your current group.
