I recently interviewed Mario Barbati of ENnie-nominated 0one Games. 0one Games was the first electronic-only game company to ever sell a d20 module. 0one Games is renown for their state-of-the-art cartography featured in popular products lines like Blueprints and Master Accessories and for their extensive use of advanced PDF technology, allowing the players to customize the PDF products before printing. Also, in 2008 was introduced a brand new Campaign Setting: The Great City featuring superstar writers and great artists. In 2010 0one Games becomes a ten-years old company, having on sale more than 200 products.

Michael Tresca: Tell us about your entries.

Mario Barbati: We have two entries. The Great City Player's Guide (Best Electronic Book) is a product that is part of a line called "Urban Adventures" which features superstar writers and amazing cartography. The Dungeon of Terror (Best Cartography) is simply the largest dungeon ever tiled, it  contains 164 rooms, 8 different zones  and it’s broken in 225 customizable tiles.

MT: What sets your products apart from the pack?

MB: Our products are all of high level quality and they feature intensive use of PDF tech. Our maps, for example, feature a big button called "Rule the Dungeon". By clicking this button the user can customize the map to suit his needs. For example he may change the grid to hexagonal, or toggle away the furniture to make a player's handout and so on.

MT: Anything else you would like to add?

MB: This month 0one Games launched is very first fantasy tabletop game. It is  a PDF product you must print and build. Its name is Venture© and you can visit its official website. You can purchase The Great City: Player's Guide and the Dungeon of Terror from DriveThruRPG.
