Prince Harry has successfully completed the first section of his helicopter flight training. He has completed 40 hours of flight time and has been given the go-ahead to begin work on the advanced section of the training. The basic level course covers things like take-off and landings, basic handling, and low level emergencies. The advanced course will cover night flight, instrument guidance, and more advanced handling. Prince Harry’s overall goal is to become a RAF search and rescue pilot. He is following in the footsteps of his brother Prince William, his father Prince Charles who completed the course in 1971, and his uncle Prince Andrew who was a naval helicopter pilot.
Prince Harry’s personal life seems to have closed a chapter this week as Chelsy Davy was photographed with a new boyfriend. Many royal watchers had hoped that the two would work out their differences and find their way back together again. With the pictures surfacing this week that seems much less likely. They were reportedly on Chelsy’s Facebook page which Prince Harry apparently saw. The tabloids reported that they had had several secret meetings but that the South African beauty is now telling her inner circle that the relationship is over.
