Attempted burglary at William and Harry's home

TRH Princes William and Harry

A couple of unknowing burglars attempted to break into one of the better secured homes in Britain this week. They tried to break into the off-base home of Princes William and Harry. Their secluded home is under 24 hour armed guard and its location is secret. The burglars were apprehended within seconds and given a warning. It is not believed at this point that they knew who’s home it was they were breaking in to. In addition, neither prince was home at the time. William has lived there since January when he began helicopter training at nearby RAF Shawbury, Shropshire. Harry joined him in April when he too started learning to fly. The princes have been told about the break-in attempt and are said to have found “the funny side” of the incident.

Also in British royal news, the family of a soldier that had been comforted by Prince William is to receive the Elizabeth Cross. The relatives of Robert Pearson will be among the first people to be personally presented with the new honor by the Queen. Trooper Pearson's body was flown home in April 2008 by a military aircrew that included William who was flying home from his secret visit to Afghanistan. The prince said at the time he was ''honored'' to be among those accompanying the soldier's remains on the flight home and later spent time with the soldier’s family. The Queen is the regiment's Colonel-in-Chief and will visit the unit on September 12 to perform the private presentation ceremony.

Wow! what a mistake that was! Although, I feel like a warning is a little light!

I thought so too. But I checked that out like 10 different places. All they got was a warning. They must have been caught before actually getting in.
