Keith Publications, D'ink Well and Wicked Ink Press the latest offering for e-books

Keith Publications is the web newest offering for e-books
The company was started by Mary Keith of Gilbert, Arizona. Mary has years of experience in the publishing industry, beginning with a writer’s magazine in the 1980’s and 1990’s, and she’s looking to make that available on line again in the near future. Mary calls herself a “TRUE Romance writer...but I read and write in all genres. I know that is hard to believe...but I can write Inspirational right on to Erotica.”
Keith Publications offers two different web sites that cover every genre. The first, Wicked Ink Press, is a romance publisher including everything from sweet to erotica, while D’Ink Well is open to all genres, both fiction and non-fiction, but won’t publish erotica at this time.
“I'm offering quality e-books that will compete with other e-publishers.  Most publishers have one site and they specialize in one genre. Wicked Ink Press only accepts Romance from sweet to Erotica. D' Ink Well accepts poetry, short stories, how to's, fiction & non-fiction. This site will also have Romance, but not Erotica. We offer to post trailers, that the authors have done or had someone do for them. These will be with the book and on the authors page along with reviews. We are also very much looking to be a family for our authors.”
In the next few years, they would like to take some of their author’s books into print and possibly audio books. “Our goal is to become one of the biggest family based e-publishers out there. We are looking at some point growing into audio books and eventually print. We'd like for all our authors to have the best experiences here and want to return.”

KP is looking to have a stable of editors and artists. They are looking to grow KP's two web sites with
many wonderful storytellers' e-books. Authors interested in submittingshort stories, novels, novellas and extended novels can find the submission guidelines at any of their three sites.
Keith Publications will be attending the Desert Dream 2010 Conference in the Scottsdale area April 16-18, 2010. You can see the details of the conference at their site.

I live in Phoenix and tonight went to Red Lobster and met Mary's daughter. I have written my first manuscript and will shortly have my first book published by Publishamerica. It took me almost six months to finish my manuscript and was told it was too big. My word count was over 250,000. The Publishers have decided to keep the book in it's entirity, which was great since I couldn't decide where to cut it. I am looking forward to seeing many of you in February in Glendale.

You must be careful about Publishamerica. I had a book that they published. they breeched my contract by publishing the rough draft and not the proofs that I had approved of. it took two years to get my publishing rights back. they denied even knowning about all the typo's that appeared in the first page of the book. One of the book looked like the words were spilling into each other on one book that My mother bought for a friend. I had to threaten to take an ad out in the Los Angeles times with their contract and the first page of the book in order to get my rights back. Consult Predi
tors and editors it is a very valueable website. It will give you information about agents and publishers. They will give you up to date info on everyone and leave it up to you whether or not you want to utilize them. Publish America dosen't really care about its authors it makes it's money by authors buying their own books. they will not do any marketing at all and because they are a print on demand company your work will sell for an amount that is not competative. Most companies will not shelf pring on demand books becasue they can't return them. I am one of a long line of authors that has gotten burned by Publish America. check the website, google, they will not respond they have been sued before..several times. check your information before you sign.
