Paul Dedrick Gray, of Johnston, Iowa was found dead at approximately 11 a.m. today by an employee at TownePlace Suites in Urbandale, Iowa.
Police have said that no evidence of foul play was evident. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed. Rumors that his death is drug related have quickly spread online.
Gray, 38, was the bassist for the popular hard rock band Slipknot from Des Moines.

this has been a rough year on Rock with the deaths of 3 known musicians this year, and Dio just passing away last week.
Its been a bad year for rock and metal music. Paul Gray will be missed, and the big looming question will be , will slipknot continue? In my opinion yes, after a long break. Rest in peace Paul, we as fans miss you deeply already.
