If you are a frequent road tripper, chances are you have driven past a few unique landmarks, that will always be in your memories of that particular trip. One such landmark can be seen by traveling less then 30 minutes north of Cincinnati, on I-75. Nicknamed Big Butter Jesus or Touchdown Jesus, this now famous statue puts the small town of Monroe, Ohio, squarely on the map of roadside must sees.

The statue, its real name being King of Kings, is 62 feet tall and is viewable from Interstate 75, just north of exit 29. The statue is on the property of The Solid Rock Church and depicts Jesus with his hands raised to the sky.  At a cost of $250,000, the statue was designed by Brad Coriel and sculpted by James Lynch. It was moved to its current location in 2004.

The statue is certainly a talking point, for both locals and travelers alike. It has become so famous, in fact, that it even has its own song, "Big Butter Jesus", that was written and performed by comedian Heywood Banks.

If you are from the Cincinnati area, or just passing through, and have never witnessed the King of Kings statue, you are really missing out. This landmark is truly a sight to behold and well worth the short drive from Cincinnati, to see this massive statue firsthand.
