I would like to see the graphs of the Republican plan. I only see CBO graphs of Obama's plan. Where are the Republican ones to compare them to?

The words are fine, but I see no real counter numbers (other than Obama's) in the document above. Did I miss something?

Wake up folks, the numbers are right in front of you. The problem is the Democratic party has a specific agenda and does not want to permit anyone to interrupt it. So, the choices are fairly simple. 1) get ready for larger govt or 2) stand up for what you believe in

I choose the latter because a public official works for me as I pay their salary, period. If they cannot do their job, they are voted out, period. For what it's worth, I am Conservative and I follow the beliefs of Ronald Reagan and Abraham Lincoln. There are many who have the same beliefs of freedom, Conservatism, and the rights our forefathers bestowed upon us.

you have to be kidding me! This is not only the worst thing I have ever written it is vague and false. I don't know how all of you sleep at night. Your party cuased 85% of this problem, but have the audacity to put this as a economic plan. Wake up we are in a GLOBAL MARKET! nothing you said in this toilet paper proposal makes the U.S.A a better place. You are good at horse and pony shows and this crap is the evidence.

This is about the funniest thing I've ever read (and I'm a teacher who reads students' essays for a living). Can you really call a list of strung-together platitudes an alternative budget?

I'd heard comments about how bad the proposal was & wondered how much political rhetoric those criticisms contained. Now I've seen the document myself, and I'd have to say the criticisms I've heard from the Dems are really much milder than they ought to be. Seriously, I really hope govt. funds weren't used to print this garbage.

Is that a joke where are the numbers? Reminds me of a south park scene with the underwear gnomes. "Step one collect underwear, Step 2 profit!"

Is this a joke? There's nothing here. Is this just a summary? If this is our "response", then, man oh man.

Republicans, Democrats who cares...they both sold us down the river. Because of our current political matrix my great grandchildren are now subject to economic slavery. I have no reason to love either of these pretenders to freedom as I am not likely to trust the care of my children to those who are prone to harm them.

The strict application of the Constitution is absolutely necessary if we are to remain a free people, both Republican and Democrat have seemingly forgotten this vital fact.

That's it? That is all the formerly GOP has to say? Ok, it get it. You are not the Democrats, you don't like spending, etc, but this is all you can come up with?

so this is what a "smaller, less wasteful government" report looks like...a "budget" sans all those pesky numbers....

    step one: budget without numbers...
step two: ???? and/or magic and/or free ponies
    step three: jobs created...etc...
