"Excuse me, I'm choked up with anger here." -- Barack Obama
Yesterday, President Obama got all choked up over the A.I.G bonuses that, according to the New York Times, the Obama administration went along with (read: screwed the American taxpayer):
You can watch Obama's crocodile tears at about the 0.496 mark in the following video:
Why won't Obama do as I suggested and make those [expletive deleted] executives sue for their so-called bonuses and force them to defend their actions to a judge or jury?
Could it have something to do with the fact that Obama received more in bonuses campaign contributions from A.I.G than any other candidate except Senator Dodd? What other explanation actually makes any sense?

Readers are to be reminded. While crocodile tears tug at our hearts, readers are to never forget those tears come from a crocodile.
Trying to wipe away those crocodile tears is a sure bet of losing a hand, painfully so.

Yeah, it is insane to give these bonuses considering AIG's situation, but we're talking about $165 Million our of $85+ billion. Let's keep a perspective here. Are we really going to spend time and resources on this? Put a provision for future money - think about the potential problems - and then move on.
Campbell:
Are you brain-dead? Chris Dodd approved bonuses in the bailout with AIG. Everyone, including Dodd, Geithner, and Obama knew months ago. And guess who are the 2 biggest recipients of political campaign contributions....Dodd and Obama. Gee, I would think a "journailist" of your caliber would be able to find this information somewhere. Great reporting for the Obama/Pravda network.
He coughed and made a joke about it. Your quote is out of context and 'crocodile tears' is an inappropriate description. AIG needs to be flushed along with the rest of the garbage on Wall Street. Whatever his funding sources may have been, and irrespective of how hypocritical these may be, he's the man in the chair and the one most able to do something about it (unless you can do better?), so stop hogging attention to divert to fringe issues, and let him get on with it.
A non-article.
Teleprompter mishap.
Clearly he is panning left and right like he always does during a prepared speech. Then the prompter goes out. He tries to by time and then his eyes are all over the place. He lost the prompter and forgot what to say. The teleprompter President lost it, again.
If he didn't VOTE for this bailout in the first place, then I'd believe his sentiments about this AIG situation. He's a liar like every other (there are exceptions though) politic. Garrett! Oh it's ONLY $165M out of $85B...who are you Buffet or Gates? Are you kidding me. Every freaking penny counts...it's the taxpayers money and we have folks here without jobs and food on the table. $165M today, $165B tomorrow.
the whoole situation is screwed if we cant trust obama to keep our best interests in mind then the whole country is in trouble. Obama knew that AIG was planning these bonuses and profited from them if the country is mad at AIG they should be just as angrey with Obama
