In the middle ages salt was very rare and valuable, so a person "worth their weight" was a person who was needed and valuable. If we were back in those ages Herbal Thai would be worth its weight in salt and then some for sure.
Tucked in-between office buildings off of industrial parkway this restaurant serves some the best and most authentic Thai food in the area. I had the pleasure of trying their Chicken Pad See Ew. Pas See Ew is a traditional Thai noodle dish that contains stir-fried white rice noodles, egg, broccoli and carrots with Thai sweet soy sauce. And if you are not for the spicy this is the dish for you. I made the mistake of getting their drunken noodle, which is basically the spicy version and for sure sweated out at least three pounds.
The lunch special came with two crispy spring rolls and a drink. The spring rolls were a nice compliment to my meal. Your first bite and for sure you will want to eat the whole plate and order some togo. Thankfully they give you a mountain of food so you also feel as if you are getting a quality meal.
If you still have room left for anything other than air you must try their Mango and Sticky rice.I was made a believer when I tried it and always make sure that I get it. The mango is so ripe and fresh you would have thought they got it from Trinidad and Tobago themselves.
Great meal and they do have some space inside to dine in if you do so please. To top it all off they offer cooking classes to help those who have a desire to learn a new cuisine cooking style. Try them out and let me know if you think they are worth their weight as well.
