The process begins with the completion of a comprehensive client consultation form which is meant to assess the client’s lifestyle, determine the desired final eyelash extension look and most importantly ensure the absence of contraindications. After completion and discussion of the form, the actual service begins with the cleansing and priming of the client’s natural eyelashes followed by the application of the lash extensions. During this process, the natural lash is isolated, followed by the coating of the lash extension base with adhesive, followed by the application of the extension to the natural lashes.
Depending on the number of lashes desired on each eye, application time can take up to two hours. The extensions last 4-6 weeks, with a touch-up needed every two weeks (natural eyelashes shed similarly to the hair on the rest of your body). It’s advised to avoid water, steam, excessive heat and other activities for the first 48 hours to allow the adhesive to dry thoroughly. Ultimately, proper care and maintenance of the newly applied eyelash extensions will ensure beautiful and long-lasting results.
