Wretched are back and asking the question; Why the F don't you know who we are?!

The Charlotte natives are back with another blistering full length continuing their onslought of extremely technical death metal. There are only a handful of technical death metal acts that have the ability to take their technical prowess and not have it overshadow the ability to write a solid complete song. This is not the case with the songwriting of founding members Steven Funderburk and Marshall Wieczorek. Signed to Victory Records, they broke onto the scene with The Exodus of Autonomy, which set the foundation for their later works. Beyond the Gate came out in 2010 and continued their technical onslought, matching brutality and tecnicality with songwriting and catchy riffs, a talent that many of their counterparts have a hard time developing. With Son of Perdition coming out, and with another start to finish mind blasting full length, I have to ask the question, why the fuck isn't every metalhead on the planet obessessed with this band. They are one of the most underated death metal acts out there today, so please I beg of you casual reader, go out and buy their new album!
