Despite trying my darndest to go from product introduction to product review over the span of a month, sometimes things like getting a Master’s degree and getting all wrapped up in that thing called life gets in the way. Though a bit late in the coming, these two shirts from RibbedTee have gone from need-to-know to need to know what it is like to live with them. The following findings should take care of that.
Coolwear Supima Crewneck
One of the best things about this shirt is just how incredibly smooth and soft the extra-long staple Supima Cotton is. Right out of the package, these shirts, despite being quite light in weight, feel rather substantial and dense. Once the shirt is slipped on and the 2x1 ribs open up, that sense of density disappears and is replaced with an airy lightness that is a nice blend of snug warmth and cool air flow.
Genesis Cotton Tank Top
This tank top, with its 100% cotton construction, and wide, stay-flat trim, is a new direction for RibbedTee, and it is a good one. Like the Coolwear Supima Crewneck, this tank top has a soft and substantial feel to it right from the get-go. Putting it on only verifies this substantial feel. The Genesis Tank Top has a trim fit to it that is reminiscent of a control top, at first, but then relaxes into something that is cozy and comfortable.
The overall fit and finish of both of these shirts is right on the money. No loose threads, perfect, almost imperceptible seams, and nice long tails that stay tucked in tell a tale of serious attention being paid to every aspect of their design and manufacture. Best of all, both of these shirts simply disappear when worn under the presentation layer of your choosing.

**Full disclosure: These shirts were provided at no cost for the purpose of testing/reviewing. To think otherwise would be unrealistic.
