Wild for Cowabunga's (Photos)

Cowabunga's is a local gem.

One of the most entertaining and cleanest family destinations in the area, New Hampshire's largest, inflatable gym provides a unique, fun-filled experience for children and parents alike.

It really is a blast, especially for toddlers who are in the bouncy phase. At Cowabunga's, your tot may bounce to her heart's content.

Located in Hooksett, the facility offers basketball court and boxing ring-inspired bouncy houses; giant, inflatable slides; a race track with bicycles for patrons of all sizes and small scooters for little ones; an inflatable obstacle course; and even a play area for infants.

A word of advice for planning your first visit: if you have very small children, call ahead to see if any large groups are visiting the facility at the same time to avoid a crowd of bigger kids, which may overwhelm your child. If you do end up at the gym with a large group, there is plenty of space to accommodate everyone. And most young children enjoy watching the older kids, anyways.

Admission is $10 for children, and free for adults and babies. Paid admission is good until close, which is great for mom's with small children. After receiving a stamp on the hand, patrons are permitted to leave for lunch off-site and return.

Cowabunga's also welcomes outside food, so long as treats don't contain peanuts or nut ingredients. Cowabunga's is a NUT Free facility.

But if you find yourself unprepared, a variety of snacks for children and adults are available for purchase at the facility; and patrons may order from Sal's Pizza on site.

In addition to providing a wonderful space where families can let loose on slow weekdays, Cowabunga's also serves as a private party facility.

The gym is open for free play on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.

Private parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays.

On Friday, Cowabunga's will host a special Open Gym with Mickey and Minnie from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

For more information about Cowabunga's, located at 1328 Hooksett Road, visit the gym online or call (603) 625-8008.
